Rules and guidelines for using our service

Entity: Future Engine LLC ("Future Engine," "we," "our," or "us") operates the mobile application Mr. Roast ("App" or "Service").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using or installing the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

Mr. Roast is an AI-powered entertainment app that generates humorous, roast-style, and satirical content based on images or text you provide.

Important: All outputs are fictional and created for entertainment only. They do not represent factual statements or the views of Future Engine LLC, its employees, or affiliates.

3. Account Registration

Certain features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity on your account.

4. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of any content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant Future Engine LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content solely to operate and improve the App.

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or defame any person
  • Upload or generate hateful, obscene, or illegal content
  • Misrepresent AI-generated material as factual statements about real people
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App

We may suspend or remove access if we determine your use violates these Terms.

5. AI Processing and Image Handling

When you upload an image or text, it is sent directly from your device to our AI provider (Gemini API) for processing.

  • •Future Engine LLC does not store or retain those uploads
  • •If you exit before exporting a roast video, temporary data is cleared from your device's cache
  • •Rendered videos are saved locally on your device only; we never upload or store them

6. Payment Terms

Certain features require payment through Apple In-App Purchase or other secure processors. All payments are non-refundable unless required by law.

Pricing may change with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All App code, design, and branding are owned by Future Engine LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for your own content, you may not copy or redistribute any part of the App without our consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for any purpose.

Generated roasts may be unpredictable or offensive.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Engine LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Future Engine LLC, its officers, and employees from any claims or expenses arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Ventura County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in-App or via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
